Times definitely change, and so do people... I know this because I've gotten over my ex, and I want everyone to know!

It's taken a bit of time, but I'm over her! "How do you know?" you might ask... quite simple. I found someone better! Someone I've really liked for over 3 years!! I never thought she had a thing for me, but it turns out she does, and has for about the same amount of time! Knowing that alone made getting over my ex happen easily!

Her name is Christie, and she's more amazing than anyone I've ever met!! We actually talk, and she actually understands what I say, and she talks back. We talk all the time, and I love hearing her voice! She's everything I've looked for in a person... she's got an extensive knowledge of old movies, cars, music, and TV shows. , she's smart, beautiful, and has a great sense of humor. She doesn't care what people think of her, and she likes me for who I am! I can be my random, funny, outgoing self around her, and that's great!

We're not yet dating, but that's because we're taking it slow... and I think that's what I've messed up on in alot of relationships. It's better to take it slow, and get to really know the person. That way all the things that could be bad surprises are taken care of. I haven't found anything I don't like about her though! She's so amazing!

I smile just from the thought of her, and can't stop smiling when I hear her voice! Not that I'd want to stop, because it feels so right! When we hold eachother I feel like I belong! It's amazing!

I have not thoughts anymore about getting back with my ex, or taking her back. I still care about her, and don't wish ill-will upon her... but we will never be together again. We still talk occasionally, and she seems a bit depressed about her current relationship. But I told her that I hope it works out for her.
